Anklets

Definition : Devices designed to embrace the ankle, providing limited support and protection. These devices consist of single-use material that is integral (e.g., straps). They are typically made of elastic fabrics that may be combined with soft plastics. Anklets are used for temporary treatment of minor ankle injuries such as sprains and during rehabilitation for performing exercise. They may also provide compression to increase venous activity.
