Definition : Surgical clamps designed to provide a firm grip on the bronchi. These clamps are typically handheld, manual instruments including two parts pivoted at the center; they usually have atraumatic curved, right-angled, or obtuse-angled distal ends with longitudinal serrations. Bronchus clamps are mainly used during thoracic surgery.
