Definition : Surgical clamps designed for the atraumatic grasping of the cervix (e.g., the anterior lip), to facilitate holding and/or manipulation of the uterus. These clamps are typically handheld, very thin manual instruments including two parts pivoted at the center each with specially shaped, blunt distal blades.
